Local Officials Visit Hampden Pre-K/Head Start Collaborative

HAMPDEN- On Tuesday, December 20, State Sen. Andre Cushing, District 10, and Penobscot Chief Deputy William Sheehan joined the Hampden Pre-K class for a book reading with the students and to learn more about the Pre-K/Head Start collaborative at the Elementary school. “This collaboration is a great example of how partnerships can bring high-quality early learning to more 4-year-olds in Maine, helping them better prepare for kindergarten,” said Sen. Cushing.
