FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUGUSTA – For the sixth year in a row, Senator Jim Hamper (R-Oxford) posted a perfect voting record in the Maine Senate during the 128th Legislature.
The Senate had 657 roll call votes during the First and Second Regular Sessions of the 128th Legislature and Senator Hamper was present for all of them.
“Representing our community in Augusta is a responsibility that I don’t take lightly,” Senator Hamper said. “You have elected me to do an important job, and that’s why it has always been a priority of mine to be present for every single vote.”
Senator Hamper, who represents Senate District 19 in the Maine Senate, is the chair of the Legislature’s Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee and also serves on the Health and Human Services Committee.
The voting totals for the Second Regular Session of the 128th Legislature were compiled by the Office of the Secretary of the Senate.
