FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUGUSTA – Senator Joyce Maker (R-Washington) posted a perfect voting record in the Maine Senate during the 128th Legislature.
The Senate had 657 roll call votes during the First and Second Regular Sessions of the 128th Legislature and Senator Maker was present for all of them.
“The 128th Legislature dealt with many important issues, such as the status of the Downeast Correctional Facility, education funding and tax policy,” Senator Maker said. “That is why I felt it was critical to be in the Senate chamber for every vote.”
Senator Maker, who represents District 6 in the Maine Senate, is the chair of the Marine Resources Committee and also serves on the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee.
The voting totals for the Second Regular Session of the 128th Legislature were compiled by the Office of the Secretary of the Senate.
