AUGUSTA – Maine State Senator Robert Foley (R-York) has announced local transportation projects included in the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) Work Plan for Calendar Years 2019, 2020 and 2021. The estimated value of work in the plan totals more than $2.44 billion and encompasses 2,193 projects across the state.

The Work Plan includes more than $1.4 billion in highway, bridge and multimodal capital work, nearly $1.2 billion in highway and bridge projects and nearly $297 million in multimodal capital projects.

Projects scheduled for Senate District 34 include highway rehabilitation on Rt. 109 in Acton; improvements to the rail crossing on Prospect Hill Rd. in Lebanon; and highway paving on Rt. 9 in North Berwick and Wells.
