AUGUSTA – Students from Mt. Valley High School’s JMG program visited the State House on Tuesday, March 4 to advocate for the program. During their visit, they met with their state senator, Lisa Keim (R-Oxford), a strong advocate of the program and spokesperson at the event.
“It was an honor to speak at the JMG advocacy event and to share JMG success stories with my colleagues in Augusta,” Sen. Keim said. “Two years ago, I set out to help Mt. Valley High School establish a JMG program for their students, so I was happy to hear from some of their first participants and to learn about how the program has benefited them.”
JMG partners with public education and private businesses to offer results-driven solutions to ensure all Maine students graduate, attain post-secondary credentials and pursue meaningful careers.
