FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Leo Jolin, Sen. Lisa Keim
LIVERMORE FALLS – Senator Lisa Keim (R-Oxford) attended the re-opening celebration at Breakneck RC Speedway and Hobbies on Sunday, September 16 to learn more about club racing in Maine and recent updates to the facility. The event was held in honor of Ron Bryant, the previous owner who passed away unexpectedly last year. Club operations have now been taken over by Leo Jolin of Rumford.
This racing facility welcomes racers of all ages and abilities, with the youngest racer being only nine years of age.
“I had a great time touring Breakneck RC Speedway and Hobbies on Sunday,” said Sen. Keim. “It was neat to learn about the sport from someone who has so much passion for it and is so willing to share that passion with. We should all be proud to have this facility right in our backyard, especially since the next closest racetrack is in Vermont. If anyone is interested in trying their hand at race car driving, rental cars will be available soon. Thanks to Leo for taking the time to show me around.”
