Sen. Dana Dow, Anthony Lufkin, Daniel Hupp, Joseph Hennessey, Sen. Paul Davis

AUGUSTA – Senator Paul Davis (R-Piscataquis) recognized Joseph Hennessey, 2018 Piscataquis County Teacher of the Year, with a legislative sentiment at an awards ceremony in Augusta on May 10.

Mr. Hennessey, who was nominated for the award by Principal John Keane, teaches several subjects to 11^th and 12^th graders at Piscataquis Community School in Guilford where he has taught for four years. He will continue to compete in the Maine Teacher of the Year program, which will announce the 2018 Maine Teacher of the Year in October.
