AUGUSTA – Senator Lisa Keim (R-Oxford) has announced the local transportation projects included in the Maine Department of Transportation Work Plan for Calendar Years 2019, 2020 and 2021. The estimated value of work in the plan totals more than $2.44 billion and encompasses 2,193 projects across the state.
The Work Plan includes more than $1.4 billion in highway, bridge and multimodal capital work, nearly $1.2 billion in highway and bridge projects and nearly $297 million in multimodal capital projects.
Projects scheduled for Senate District 18 include highway paving on Rt. 4 in Livermore; highway paving on Rt. 120 in Andover, Mexico, Roxbury and Rumford; pavement resurfacing on Rt. 140 in Canton and Hardford; highway paving on Rt. 2 in Mexico; and highway reconstruction on Rt. 26 in Woodstock.
Sen. Keim said, “Transportation investments provide a boost to the economy and ensure mobility and reliability within the area. I am encouraged to see so many significant improvements planned for Senate District 18.”
