AUGUSTA – On Thursday, February 2, Kaylee Donaldson of Hiram visited the Maine State House with the UMaine Cooperative Extension to help educate legislators on the work of Extension throughout the state and learn more about the political process. During her visit she served as an Honorary Page in the Maine Senate, gaining hands-on civic experience. “It was great to have Kaylee and her peers involved in the process for a day,” said Sen. Hamper (R-Oxford). “I’m glad to see 4-H carry on the tradition of bringing members to the House and Senate. It’s important to engage our citizens from a young age.”
