AUGUSTA – Members of the Lawrence High School “Vocal Vibe” performed at the Maine State House on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.

The group, which is directed by Renae Misner, sang the National Anthem to begin the session of the Maine House of Representatives.

Here they are pictured with State Senator Scott Cyrway (R-Kennebec).

Senator Cyrway said, “What a treat it was for lawmakers to hear these talented singers perform under the dome at the State House! As the former President of the Lawrence High School Chorus and member of the Kennebec Valley Chorus and UMaine Chorus Line, I have a deep appreciation for what they do and will experience in the years ahead.”
