AUGUSTA – Pastor Stephen Prescott of Portland again served as Pastor of the Day, delivering the opening prayer in the Maine Senate on Tuesday, January 23. Pastor Stephen Prescott serves the congregation at The Rock Church in Scarborough as an Associate Pastor.

Pastor Prescott was originally an attendee of The Rock Church. Following a military deployment in Iraq as a Chaplain in the US Army Reserves, he attended Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Bible/Theology and Pastoral Ministry and a Masters of Divinity Degree at Multnomah Bible Seminary.

During his visit, Pastor Prescott visited with Assistant Majority Leader Amy Volk (R-Cumberland), a member of his congregation. “I always look forward to Pastor Prescott’s visits to the Maine Senate,” said Senator Amy Volk (R-Cumberland). “I’m glad he decided to join us once more.”
