AUGUSTA – The LaCroix family of Skowhegan visited the Maine State House on Thursday, January 25. During their visit, Evelyn LaCroix, daughter of Douglas and Carrie LaCroix, began the day’s work in the Maine House of Representatives by singing the National Anthem.

During their visit, the family met with their state senator, Rod Whittemore (R-Somerset).

“I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet with the LaCroix family during their visit to the State House,” said Sen. Whittemore. “I was particularly impressed that Evelyn, at only 10 years old, had the courage to perform before the entire Maine House of Representatives. She did a fantastic job.”
