It includes more than $1.4 billion in highway, bridge and multimodal capital work, more than $1.1 billion in highway and bridge projects and more than $296 million in multimodal capital projects.
Among the major projects in Senate District 16 include highway paving in Waterville, bridge maintenance in Winslow, bridge strengthening in Benton and highway construction in Clinton.
“Many thanks to MDOT for publishing their schedule,” Senator Cyrway said. “These projects are so important and affect so many people in Senate District 16, so it’s good to know what the department has chosen to prioritize.”
The full work plan, including an interactive plan that is searchable by municipality, can be accessed on the Maine Department of Transportation’s website at: http://www.maine.gov/mdot.
