AUGUSTA- The LaCroix family of Skowhegan visited the Maine Senate on Tuesday, March 6. During their visit, Evelyn (grade 5) and Lucia (grade 2) served as honorary pages and the family met with their state senator, Rod Whittemore (R-Somerset). Evelyn also had the distinct honor of singing the national anthem before the body.

The honorary page program provides an opportunity for students from third grade through high school to participate in the legislative process for one day’s session in either the House or Senate. For more information about the program, please contact Senator Cyrway’s office at 207-287-1505.
