Sen. David Woodsome, Autumn Mallett of Saco, Luke Mallett of Saco, Nathan Eichler of Lyman, Rep. Heidi Sampson
AUGUSTA – On Thursday, March 16, three students from the TEACH Homeschool group, based out of Waterboro, met with Senator David Woodsome (R-York) and Representative Heidi Sampson (R- Alfred) during a visit to the State House. Also during their visit, they served as Honorary Pages in the Senate Chamber for the day’s session.
TEACH Homeschool is made up of a network of homeschooling families. They meet monthly for encouragement and edification.
“I had a great time meeting with these students from TEACH,” said Sen. Woodsome. “I hope they got a lot out of the trip and enjoyed their time here in Augusta.”
“It was a pleasure to welcome this group of exceptional students to the Maine State House,” said Rep. Sampson. “It’s great for them to have the opportunity to see and experience civic engagement in a hands-on way.”
