AUBURN- On Friday, November 3, Auburn Cub Scout Pack 111 met with their legislator, Senator Eric Brakey (R-Androscoggin), to learn about how government functions. During their visit they held a mock legislature, each being appointed as a member of the House of Representatives for the evening to walk through how a bill goes from an idea to a law.

“I really enjoyed speaking with this group of local Cub Scouts and showing them how state government functions,” said Sen. Brakey. “They had many great ideas and thoughtful questions. I’m confident knowing these are the next generation of leaders for Maine.”
