Senator Lisa Keim Announces Local Projects Included in Maine DOT Work Plan

Augusta – Senator Lisa Keim (R-Oxford) has announced the local transportation projects included in the Maine Department of Transportation Work Plan for Calendar Years 2018, 2019 and 2020. The estimated value of work in the plan totals more than $2.3 billion and encompasses 2,262 projects across the state.

The Work Plan includes more than $1.4 billion in highway, bridge and multimodal capital work, more than $1.1 billion in highway and bridge projects and more than $296 million in multimodal capital projects.

Among the projects scheduled in Senate District 18 include bridge work on Route 4 in Livermore and Livermore Falls, highway paving along Route 4 in Livermore, highway paving beginning 27 miles along Route 16 from the New Hampshire state line and bridge replacement on Route 120 in Andover.

Sen. Keim said, “Transportation investments provide a boost to the economy and ensure mobility and reliability within the area. I am encouraged to see so many significant improvements planned for Senate District 18.”
