AUGUSTA – Senator Jeff Timberlake (R-Androscoggin) has announced the local transportation projects included in the Maine Department of Transportation Work Plan for Calendar Years 2019, 2020 and 2021. The estimated value of work in the plan totals more than $2.44 billion and encompasses 2,193 projects across the state.
The Work Plan includes more than $1.4 billion in highway, bridge and multimodal capital work, nearly $1.2 billion in highway and bridge projects and nearly $297 million in multimodal capital projects.
Projects scheduled for Senate District 22 include safety improvements to the intersection of Rt. 125 and Meadow Rd. in Durham; highway paving on Allen Pond Rd. and Sawyer Rd. in Greene; highway reconstruction on Rt. 125 in Lisbon; safety improvements to the intersection of Rt. 4, Bear Pond Rd. and Howe’s Corner Rd. in Turner; and safety improvements to the intersection of Rt. 4 and Rt. 117 in Turner.
